Chairman Vafrntine has received assurance that Major General R. L. Bullard will arrive in Rigby in time lor the morning program. An elaborate parade has been planned, with prizes for the best floats in five divisions, i Business houses and various organizations of the town have signified their intention of having floats in the parade. Directly after the parade a program will be bekl in the Rigby stake tabernacle. The sports in the afternoon will consist of foot races and horse races, a ball game between Rigby and Idaho Falls and an oatdoor boxing match. Development of deep water wells In Brigham City and vicinity Is solving the problem of obtaining additional water for irrigation purposes. During the week Ira and Merlfti Larsen completed well on theiiy orchard land In the southeastern part of the city which has a pumping capacity of .500 gallons per minute. The well was drilled to a depth of 101 feet. There appears to be a good deal more water in the well than is being pumped. Hie well has been in operation for several days and the supply of water has apparently increased. A number of similar wells have been developed here this spring. In addition to these wells Alfred N. Olsen, who is extensively engaged in fruit growing in the vicinity south of Brigham, is having two wells installed and Brigham City Is arranging to have a well drilled in the near Xu ture.
