Overeaters Anonymous, 6:45 p.m., Blanding Library. 11 August 18 Thursday Story Hour, 10 am, Mont, library Grayson Country Quilters, 7 p.m., Blanding Senior Center. AA meeting, :30 p.m., Community Church, Monticello. August 19 Friday NA & AA open meeting, 7 p.m., 580 N. Main (Wilderness Quest) back room, Monticello. August 22 Monday a.m. to 4 p.m. The show will take place at the Lewis Arriola Community Center, one mile west of Arriola on County Road S. This years theme is A Quilters gust 20 from the on AA Meeting, 6 pm, Blanding library Tuesday August 23 9 Flower Garden. Entries are open to the public with different categories of quilting: Hand Quilted, Commercially Machine Quilted, Individually Machine Quilt- ed, Wall-Hanging- Baby s, Quilts, Applique, and Miscellaneous Quilted items. Winners will be selected based on votes by quilt show visitors. Quilts must not have been displayed before at any Armchair Quilters Show. All entries must have the name of the pattern, and the source contestants got the NA & AA open meeting, 7 p.m., 580 N. Main (Wilderness Quest) back room, Monticello. Navajo weaving workshop at EOC Award winning navajo weaver, Anita Hathale, will teach two workshops on The Art of Navajo Weaving at Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum in Blanding, Utah. September 26 through 30: A Workshop in Navajo Weaving for Beginners and October 24 through 28: Navajo Weaving Techniques for the Advanced Student. All entries, except wall hangings and baby quilts, must have the size of the quilt. Quilts will be released between 4:30 and 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 20. Those who cannot pick up quilts by 5 p.m. need to make arrangements with someone who can. Admission fee is $2. These fees are used to cover the cost of renting the building. Drawing of this years raffle quilt, 4 Patches and Friends, which was pieced by quilt members and machine quilted by Elaine Brown, will take place August 20 at 3 p.m. will Armchair Quilters have their Boutique with handmade items, quilt books, quilt items, Christmas ornaments and many other items. Also, there will be vendors for shoppers to buy patterns, fabric, new books and other quilt items. Come to the Flower Garden Party and see some exquisite artwork and learn more about quilting.
