Show THE SAN JUAN RECORD Wednesday, February 9, 2005 - So, when these kids are in 14 Page rehearsal bright and early, you know a presentation is soon to follow. Such is the case. And the next scheduled play will feature - in a starring role -La Sals own Amanda Fuller! She is now (in her senior year) an old hand at MHS drama. She will be greatly missed next season. (It must be Fuller Day in the column this week!). This weekend brings up the dueling holidays. Not only is it the locally acclaimed big event of the year - State Wrestling in Orem, but it just happens to be Valentines Day as well. It is convenient that they come at the same time. So, you can remember if it is State Wrestling weekend, better get something nice for your special Valentine. The La Sal Mourning and early mornings I dont quite know how to start this. It is not really a sad occasion, although there is always some sorrow in losing a loved one, even when the time has come. Louise Harvey, a great lady, completed her sojourn on this sphere and was laid to rest last Saturday. Im sure her life is detailed else- her eternal companion, Julius Harvey. She will be missed by friends and family. Its not just the buffed up (they wished) FROM SIKRRA I dent as she moved around among her offspring. When she was in residence in La Sal, the quilting needles did fly as she and Jackie produced a record amount of quilts while she was here. She was fortunate to live life to tin? end with a sharp mind, useful hands and a wealth of experiences to tell. She was laid to rest in Eastland next to at found Monticello High School in the predawn hours. More often than not, A SAL the thespians are there bright and by Maxine Deeter in La Sal. Louise was a part time resi- d crowd that can be Northern News where in this paper. Mrs. Harvey lived a long, full, rich, productive life spanning well into her ninth decade. She was blessed with a great posterity, one branch of which resides in La Sal. Her daughter Jackie Fuller (recent SJR Mother of the Year) and two of her grandchildren live bed-heade- (strike early - they get there way bright before the sun makes its appearance). Now the workout group just hops cheerfully out of bed (thats a big lie!!!). Anyway, they hop out of bed, drag on Elcmenta cartridges. So, at home or at work, gather up all those empty cartridges and hand them to the kids or teachers at LSES. What is that ringing noise? Do you hear it? No, it is not just ringing in the ears. Sounds more like wedding bells to me. Sure enough - it is wedding bells. Our own Bobbi Wilcox Stoner will wed Blandings Neldon Holt on February 26. Both Bobbi and Neldon re cently lost their respective spouses. It is great to see theyve found companionship in each other. It is awfully lonely being alone! An update on Keira Brown who was injured recently in a tubing accident. She is out of the hospital and back to school at Snow College. I know a lot of prayers were sent heavenward in her behalf. Looks like they worked. Good Luck At State, matmen! Local folks are so busy that so far no one has stepped forward to put together a community celebration. Guess you and your sweetie are on your own this home to shower and get ready for the day. Not the thespian group - especially the young ladies. They show up by 6 a.m. dress, curled, fed and prepared for the day. That means they are up way early getting ready.
