All 12 Buck wrestlers qualified for the tourney and earned a fourth place finish. Garcia came out on fire for his final match, putting his man down and letting him up several times while racking up a win and fifth place medal. Travis Butler started off strong with a pin in the first round. Round two handed him 14-1- 9-- 5 11-- 3 a tough loss, but he came back with an exciting overtime win and a 2 win in crucial rounds 7-- to stay alive in the tourney. Two more tough losses followed and Butler brought home a sixth place medal. Kalob Butler won big in his first match 15-- 2 but a second round loss put him in the consolation bracket. He had to win two to stay in the tourney, which he did with a second period pin and an 11-- 7 win. He lost his final match and earned a sixth place medal. Krieg Adair earned an exciting first period pin in round one.
