Show THE SAN JUAN RECORD Wednesday January 25, 1995 Buckaroos bucked by Orton On January 20, the Monticello Buckaroo boys basketball team traveled to Kanab to play the Cowboys. On the way they ran into a guy named Bucky Orton and Bucky nearly beat the Bucks Throughout the season, the Bucks have been able to stop all but one of the opposition players. However, the star player has burned the Bucks again and again. This time it was Orton who sealed the fate of the Buckaroos. When Steve Freestone, Brad Young, and Landon Day tried to equalize Buckys scoring, the supporting cast of Cowboys finished the job that Bucky started. Kanab won 73 to 59. The first quarter score was Bucky 15, Buckaroos 12 as Orton led the Cowboys to a 2 lead.
