However, they underestimated the schools from the northern part of the state. Region 12 teams dominated the tournament, capturing first place (South Summit), second place (Morgan) and fourth place (Millard). Region 13 teams placed third (San Juan), fifth (Monticello), and sixth (Parowan). The Lady Bucks tournament draw began against the Millard Eagles Friday morning. The first game was a lopsided match with Millard taking advantage Bucka-ro- o of a mistake-pron- e team and winning 15-5. Monticello rallied somewhat in the second game, but not enough and Millard Tara Forrest had four kills, two dinks and won 15-- 8. one block in the series. San Juan began their defense of the 1993 state title by defeating the North Summit Braves in two games. The scores were 15 to 8, 15-The Bronco win sent them to the semi-finround 7. al against the South Summit Wildcats. South Summit suprised the Broncos by winning the first game 15 to 10. The Broncos appeared to return to form with a 12-- 8 lead in the second game. However, at that point, the South Summit server hit a zone and served out the match for a 15-- 8 Wildcat win.
