NickXovts Spencer was about two when I saw him and his parents about six and a half years ago. As the result of a troubling disease, neurofibromatosis (a disease which causes tumors), one of his eyes protruded to quite a degree. It was disconcerting, probably more to him than to those who saw him. It looked painful. But, his problems aside, there was something very appealing about this special little boy. wanted to know him better, but my acquaintance with him and his family has come about only through a mutual friend. was glad to see that Additional information about this proposed use of National Forest lands is available from Fvan Lowry at the District Office, 496 Fat Central, Monticello or phone (801) 1 587-204- 1 Blanding installing Current law requires that cities ensure contaminated water does not mix with culinary water. Green said, Now, Spencer, are you sure? The youths response was, Well, yes, you have a green tie just like my dads. Through my friend Ive come to believe that this gutsy lad is blessed with just like wonderful parents. Parents who are allowing their first born to experience life; teaching him that his life can be what he makes of it. My friend also has conveyed the idea that these parents are teaching that same concept to the two children, Seth and Hannah, whom theyve adopted. Seth is now a healthy four year old who looks out for his older brother. For Chucky Cheese. The birthday boy was waiting in line to get on tbe slide. Other boys kept crowding in. Grandpa was going to interfere, but Charlotte told him, As they Just wait! watched, Seth told the boys, Its my brothers turn. Hes going to slide now. One of the boys didnt take much stock in that suggestion, but Seth was serious. When the boy interfered again, Seth grabbed his coat and pulled him out of the way so Spence could take his rightful turn. Hannah is much younger, a little girl with Downs syndrome. Her new parents chose her, knowing of her problem; knowing that she would need a great deal of help, patience and love. There is no doubt that all such needs will be amply supplied. Spencer told his little brother, Hannah is just like both of us. Shes handicapped and Im handicapped; shes adopted, and youre adopted.
