Some poor soul unfortunately had his car break down, but fortunate to have the Cooks to take pity on him and take care of him for a night. Mrs. Leaver is formerly from Ireland. They had an enjoyable time sightseeing and socializing. I want to hear no more snide remarks about how our young people are going to the dogs. We have had examples of the other side of the coin, when young volunteers from the University of Utah came down to work on our library. I went in to see them and found the young ladies working inside the building, while two young men were working outside in a driving rain - and lots of wind. They tell me others of their group are at Navajo Mountain. They have been staying at St. Christophers It seems a wonMission. derful way to spend a spring break. I was properly impressed. Aside from some sewer problems, our library is progressing nicely. We are still having books donated. A couple from Salt Lake are donating stacks of National Geographies and some coinage of bureaucrats, words in- cluding Washington spokes and wheels. Im not certain how the correct spelling and identification of is go- ing to help me, as have so few occasions to fret about it, but it is nice to know. Not many would say, He gave the fruit to I - so why should the addition of I Mary change things? I, undoubtedly, make plenty of errors myself, so could stand some pointers on the subject. With the changing season, the Sunbonnet Cafe has changed its hours and now will be open for service from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. The Cow Canyon Restaurant will be opening around the middle of April. Clemma Johnson asked me to go with her to the one act plays being preformed at the Theatre in the Round at San Juan High School. I was happy to accept the invitation and enjoyed the eve- ning.
