Show THE SAN JUAN RECORD Wednesday August 30, 1989 - Page 12 of Robert and Madge Anderson had a family reunion at Cascade (located between Durango and Silverton). A great time was had by all. Two of the grandchildren were unable to attend as was one by Glenice Lewis Derryl and Sally Jack and family had a fun reunion with the Jack families camping at Vallecito Lake near Durango. All of the sons and daughters . daughter-in-law- Mack and Cindy Smith are the proud parents of a baby boy with lots of black hair. LT.7 Benjamin Lee checked in at 9 pounds 6V2 ounces and joines a family of three brothers and three sisters. He arrived August 18 at Mercy Hospital in Durango. Bob and Arita Sparks of Salt Lake City, former Monticello arrived on July 29 and is named Sarah Elizabeth. The happy couple will be in grandparents of a baby girl bom to their daughter, Robin and Bob Smilanich of Arlington, Virginia. The wee miss new granddaughter (as Granddescribes mother Sparks her). The are Edway and Ila Redd of St. residents, are the proud Virginia for one more year for Bob to finish medical school at George Washington University. Arita was able to go to Arlington to be with the new mother and the georgous great-grandparen- ts George. Doug and Colleen Eldridge enjoyed a visit from Dougs parents of West Jordan. Visiting with her sisters, Nedra Hazlewood and Dixie Scorup, is Loya Perkins Gardner from Salt Lake City. Ted and Margaret Bronson have had their two grandchildren from Portland, Oregon visiting with them for most of the summer. Keith of Blanding, first place finisher in the age 30-3- 9 division of the Hillman Triathlon, crosses the finish line under a sky filled with streamer Gil clouds that seem to echo his victory.
