Show THE SAN JUAN RECORD Wednesday May 10, 1989 - Page 12 Bevan, Elaine and Jon Wright furnished the program at the nursing home on Sacrament Sunday. Elaine sang a musical number. Our community was saddened Sunday by the sudden death of Bernice Redd Helquist. We extend our sympathy to her family. The funeral is set for Thursday, May 11, at noon at the Stake Center. Vint and Reva Redd have returned home for the summer. Dan and Heather Raisor are the proud parents of a new son, bom May 1. We have a new business in Blanding. Mr. Bees celebrated with a grand opening on Saturday, April 29. By all appearances, it was a huge success. We, as a community, welcome Mr. Bees. I need your help. The day before they left to return home, the Redds visited Lyman and LaVae Redd recently returned from California. Their daughter, Becky Collins, was ill and required hospitalization, as did two of Beckys children. After all was stabilized, Lyman and LaVae traveled to Santa Maria to visit with their daughter Beverly Allen Schink. and Their granddauill with was ghter Brittney so bronchial pneumonia, son-in-la- w four-year-ol- d Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo (their old stomping grounds). They gathered snails, shells and seaweed to bring home to their Blanding grandchildren. Enroute home they attended temple sessions in Los Angeles and in St. George. On Saturday, May 7, Lyman and LaVae attended the baptism of their son Bruces eldest daughter. While in Provo, they also helped celebrate the eighth birthday of their eldest son Jerrys daughter Sarah. Francelle Blickenstaff just returned from a three-wee- k stay in Chicago where she welcomed a new grandson. The wee lad was welcomed home by two brothers. Parents are the Blickenstaff s daughter, Mary, and her husband Micheal 678-208- 0 or 678-233- 5. If you take a trip, have visitors, or do something special, it is news. I Mark. The results are: Elnora Nielson of Blanding was honored on her 90th birthday by her children and grandchildren at a family birthday dinner on April 29. Her children attending were Flora and Bill Graham of Salt Lake City, Joe and Belva Nielson of Bluff, Bud and Velda Nielson, Clea Johnson, and Klea Johnson, all of Blanding. Grandchildren attending who reside in Blanding were Norman, Ruth, Bruce, Marcia and David Johnson, Carol and Larry Richmond, Mike and Gail Northern, and Karen and Danny Fleming. Sylvia and Evan Lusty of West Valley City also attended. Mrs. Nielson still lives at home and is quite active. She spends a full day making quilts, honey candy and cookies for her 56 great-grandchildre- jump and third in the 400m.
