The meeting was attended by ten. local writers who hope they will not always be anonymous. Mr. Hendricks said that several contributions already have been made to the planned enterprise, the largest being a $200 donation by Minerals West, Inc. The president also said that lo the city councils of both Mon-ticel- and Blanding had indicated approval of the proposed establishment of a public broadcasting station and that Blanding has provided the use of space in the city office building to accommodate the current office needs of the management personnel. The office is in Room 208 at the city hall in Blanding. Mr. Hendricks added that representatives of his organization will meet in the future with the San Juan School District board of education, San Juan County commission, Havajo Tribal Council and the Red Mesa and Aneth Chapters to discuss the project. Present plans caU for the station to go on the air by October of 1982, Mr. Hendricks said, although if financial requirements can be reached ahead of schedule, the starting date could be as early as October of 1981.
