The courses, Eng- - lish 100 and Psychology 50, by the San are being offered Juan Center for Higher Education. The classes were made available to those seniors who had completed their high school graduation requirements. This month, two other pre- OUT paratory classes will be held for interested students, in EAST by Helen Redshaw Weather has been warmer lately, and more light snow, rain and fog. Mrs. Irma Shutt is in San Juan Hospital in Monticello for some tests. After 18 years of driving from Ucolo to Monticello, working for the BLM, Mrs. Opal Redshaw is moving to Monticello. Richard and Joi will move to her home. The Tal Merkleys have moved to Tooele. They were given a farewell party at Eastland Church Monday evening, Feburary 4. Eastland Mutual group enjoyed a teenage dance Tuesday night. The Jaime Crowleys recently returned from a vacation trip, visiting in Arizona, California and Mexico. The Steve Ashburns from Durango are spending the weekend with the Crowleys. Mrs. Don Crowleys parents, the Joe Reeds of Yellow-jacke- t, Colorado, recently lost their home by fire. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Murray on the birth of their grandson, born to their daughter, Alice Lofley and husband in Elmo, Nevada. The Murrays, from Dove Creek, are working in the temple in Math 101 and Psychology 115. The courses were instituted to help the students adapt to a college program and to particularly orientate them in the study skills and necessary survival skills peculiar to a college campus. Whitehorse High seniors taking college courses include, front to back; Left, Fannie Dee, Correne Ellison. Ina Blackwater; right, Lorraine Toney, Billy Slowmau and Marlene Dee.
