KIEIAE) OKI, one-thi- rd On drill team By Florence Galbraith It is always good to hear of the success of Blanding young folks and we never tire of learning of their achievements in whatever field they are tal- ented. One such lovely young lady is Jane Shumway, a daughter of Blanding residents De Var and Madge Shumway. Jane is attending SUSC in Cedar City, , Utah. She is a member of the drill team, the Thunderettes, at the college. Recently the Thunderettes performed by special invitation at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City and did three routines during half time of a Utah Pros game. Jane will also be in a special production of the Thunderettes when they perform April 14 at the SUSC fieldhouse. At that time there will be other talents, such as singing, drama, dancing, etc. Jane will be one of the vocal soloists as well as participating in dancing and other routines of the Thunderettes. Jane is also a member of the a cappella choir and a member of Lambda Delta ma sorority. Mrs. Pauline Dean and Mrs. Grace Shumway are the proud grandparents of this talented miss. 76 Nursing Home Notes (Continued from Page 11) other friends Monday.
