Show Monticello High School News May 7, from 8 p.m. to 12 midThe band will be the night. Joi Randall took first in the 440 once again at the Bloomfield track meet, and we neglected to recognize this achievement in the last issue. The boys tennis and track teams participated in the San Juan track meet on Tuesday, April 19. They also traveled to the Snow College invitational track and tennis meet on Saturday. The golf team traveled to East Carbon to win their golf meet. Team members are Rick Cahoon, Dwight Rogers, ' Doug Wight, Dan Rogers, and Jon Goon. They played on April Malibu Review, the same band that played at the Gold n Green Ball in February. The public is cordially invited. Dress is grubbies. Enter the grammar contest to be held May 3 at the high school. The test will begin at 8:30 and the fee to take a chance is just a small 75 cents. There will be two divisions. Seventh up to tenth grades will be in the junior division and high school juniors and seniors will be in the senior division. Prize money collected is about $145. Monticello High wins drama meet Duane Eubanks and Kraig Kosanke, fourth place; Shela Bailey and Frank Redd also first; by Becky Howell April 19, the drama department of Monticello High School traveled to Price to participate in the region drama meet at the College of Eastern Utah. They took first place in Region X to bring home the trophy. The following students On tied for fourth place.
