Show i ne aan juan Hecora 1977 February 24, 8 Ground Beef Little Si SAN JUAN NURSING HOME residents were guests at the home of Gordon and Fern Wood in Monticello for a Valentine's party on Monday. Mrs. Wood presented her guests with red roses. Virgil Eastin provided entertainment for the party and following the music the group had valentine refreshments. The closing prayer was by Dorothy Beair. The LDS Relief Society Nursing Home Notes organist. Mary Kee Bia's grand- House daughter, Roselynn from Egnar, Colorado, came to visit with Mary. She was so happy to see her granddaughter. Fred Fellmeth came to the nursing home on Sunday to visit with his mother, Mary Fellmeth. Beverly Vowell brought a large box of Valentine cookies to the patients here at the nursing home. Thank you very much, Beverly. Laura Pehrson is in the San Juan Hospital. We hope she wiU be back with us soon. We wish her well. We had a Valentine party at the home of Fern We had our picture piano. taken for the San Juan Record and were served refreshments. We had two hours of Thank you, Fern a pleasant time. for Wood, Mr. Skidmore has had lots of company. His daughters were here to visit with him on Wednesday and Thursday. His son John and his wife have recently real fun. returned from California came to visit with him. They live in Monticello. Mrs. May Biggs came to the nursing home on Wednesday to visit with her husband Ernest Biggs. The Assembly of God Church held their meeting atthe nursing home on Wednesday. Paulettes children, Kristy and Scotty, sang two songs. Dorothy sang a Wood in Monticello. There were 13 of us that went over. We were entertained by Virgil Easton. He played tapes of his own recordings and he sang and was accompanied by Fern at the THIS FRIDAY, and SATURDAY FEB. 25 & 26 Wednesday evening DeVar Shumway, son of Grace Shumway, and his wife came to the nursing home to visit with his mother. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bailey from Monticello and Shirley Redd came to the nursing home to visit with Grace Shumway on Thursday evening. The closing prayer was given by Corrine Pugh. Mrs. Grace Shumway was admitted to the nursing home on Wednesday. We wish to extend our welcome to her.
