Show Winter (Park Schedule Canyonlands National Park Superintendent Robert I. Kerr the winter has announced schedule for National Park Service areas in southeast Utah, effective November 20 and continuing until mid-Marc- h. Arches National Park: Visitor center will be open seven days per week on a 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule. Approxlf of the Devils imately Garden campground will remain open to dry camping. Pit toilets will be available for use by campers. Main park road will remain open and snow removal will be carried out as needed. Backcountry roads and trails will remain open. However, snow will not be removed from these areas. Canyonlands National Park: The visitor contact stations at Island and Needles will be open seven days per week on a 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Maze visitor schedule. contact station will be open on an intermittent schedule for as long as weather permits. Snow removal will be carried out on the Needles entrance road as far as the Squaw Flat campground and on the Island-in-the-Sky entrance road as far as the Neck. Snow will not be removed from backcountry roads or trails. Natural Bridges National Monument: The visitor center will be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on an intermittent basis as Monticello High's Rich Eubanks has been selected on Class 1-- A 1974 Utah All-Sta- te Football Team, as reported in last Sundays Salt Lake Tribune. Eubanks was named at offensive end. The tall Buck senior also handled the punting chores for Monticello and also got in some passes. Mike Watson at guard and Collin Timothy at linebacker, both of East Carbon, were the only other Region 10 players named to the A team. Ka-nquarterback Greg Glazier was named the most valuable 1-- ab player. Three players from Moab were named on the state A 2-- team. They were Mark Simmons at guard, Wes Ing at tackle and Bo Johnson at end. Hatch Point Test Well Stake Conference Husky Oil Company will drill an exploratory test well in Utah's San Juan County, according to Carlton Stowe, Utah Geological & Mineral Survey Husky has made location for the No. Federal, section 15, township 29s, range 21e, a projected 8200 foot test of the McCracken formation. is in The new test well The Hatch Point area. The McCracken formation produces oil at Lisbon field some 20 miles to the southeast. In San Juan County, May Petroleum is drilling below 5,300 feet at the scheduled 7,500 foot test, No. 1 Hunters Canyon, eight miles southeast of Moab. The Pennzoil No. 1 a mile and a half east of North Lisbon field is drilling below 4500 feet.
