Museum Doard Sols Work Dale On Old Cabin NELL By DALTON Ten members attended the regular monthly meeting of the Monticello Museum Board, Thursday May 10th at the Monticello Library. The guests complimented the on board the work already done on . the museum and Webb, Set Dotes For Dccr Season MES Field Day This Friday By LEON BOGEDAHL annual Monticello School Field Day Elementary will be held on Friday, May 18th beginning at 12:30. The 4th, 5th and 6th grades will compete in six trck and field events and three indoor events The including a spelling bee, speech contest and retold story contest. A student may compete in a total of four events. Parents are invited to visit the school and observe the activities. Sixth grade graduation will be on Wednesday, May 23rd, beginning at 7:30. The public is invited. Thursday, May 24th will be the last day the school cafeteria will serve lunches. Kindergarten registration will be held in the fall preceding the start of the school year. A child must be five years old before October 31st, 1973, to be able to register for Kindergarten for the 1973-7- 4 school year. Conservation Officer The 1973 deer archery season has been set for August 18 to September 3 and 1973s general deer hunt will run from October 20 though October 31. Hunting seasons for moose, elk, antelope, desert bighorn sheep and buffalo will be determined in the latter part of June after the Board of Big Game Control has held its public meetings. Division of Wildlife Resources has been receiving many inquiries concerning these big game hunts. Season dates and regulations cannot be set until field data has been collected and public hearings have been held. The Board of Big Game Control will hold public meetings thoughout Utah in June.
