Asenath Redd and Florence Marold came with her. good to see Louvene Guymon home again after spending the winter in Ari- zona with her children. Mrs. Guy Palmer and Mrs. Brig Stevens entertained the Birthday Club at the Palmer home Sunday evening. The buffet supper had the Easter mo- tif in food and decorations. Mrs. Ruby Bronson was pre- sented a beautiful cake decorated with the American flag. Her birthday, by the way, came last week, February 24th. Mrs. Nora Nielson has just returned home from a months visiting in different parts of California with her children and other relatives. Her daughter, Flora Graham, accompanied her. Mrs. Marian G. Nielson and Mrs. Pearl Bayles just returned from a delightful visit to the Islands of Hawaii. They report the climate, the scenery and the food were the best ever. Mrs. Virginia Black of Salt Lake went with them. Mrs. Nielson took many slides of the special things they saw, which we hope to see soon. It was good visiting a short time on Saturday with former residents of Blanding, Karl Lyman and Jay Nielson. They came to attend special Boy Scout meetings here. Blanding First Ward held the annual Boy Scout banquet here on Saturday evening in the Cultural Hall. Jess Grover drove four of the senior High School boys to Utah State Agricultural College in Logan on Monday, where an open house was held Jess graduated from this college before teaching school here. In passing another milestone this past week, we reminisce over the many things we are grateful for. First of all, our daughter, Lillian, her husband James Barnett and children of Murray came to help celebrate the occasion, then a phone call from a son and his wife, gifts from friends and relatives, phone calls, a pan of hot rolls from one friend, homemade candy from other friends. A good family who need and love you and friends galore. Really, all of us who live in this country are most blessed, if well only count our blessings. Mrs. Theressa Redd entertained at dinner on Thursday evening. Mrs. Ruby Bronson, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Galbraith were special guests. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Galbraith entertained at dinner last Saturday evening for Mr. and Mrs. James Barnett and 3 children, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Latham, and Lester Hellmund.
