Show FLORENCE By FLORENCE GALBRAITH Fred Keller of Price was a business caller in town on Wednesday. Fred is an old timer in this part of the coun- try, having been a lawyer and judge, and is loved by all who know him. He is retired and we wish him a lot of happy years yet. Bill Galbraith came down from Salt Lake to spend the weekend with his parents. He brought a birthday cake for his mother, whose birthday is next week. The cake is in the shape of a Model T Ford with wheels, fenders and all. The cake was created by Bill and his wife, Barbara. The senior Galbraiths drove to Salt Lake to be married 44 years ago this coming June. The John Seelys drove to Salt Lake on Saturday to visit their children and to visit one of Mrs. Seelys sisters, who has been very ill. Sure hope shes soon on the mend. Buck Wilson was a business in town on Saturday. He and his family have lived , in Bluff many years. Boyd Laws, a student at U.S.A.C. in Logan, and Florence Marold and Asenath of Weber college at Ogden come home for a visit over the weekend. Mrs. Marva Laws and son, Robert, Mrs. LouAnn Grover and three smaller children Donna Miss accompanied Jones to El Paso, Texas, last week for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Keylon. They were gone nearly a week. While there they drove down into Juarez, Old Mexico, to see the sights. They also attended the National Rodeo at El Paso. Mrs. Keylon is the former Marlene Laws. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Palmer and daughter, Jacque, went to Lake Powell on Saturday with a birthday dinner including birthday cake, for their son Randys birthday. Randy is employed at Lake Powell. Randy took his family for a boat ride, which was very much enjoyed. B landing First Ward held Ward Conference last Sunday caller HEARING AID SERVICE CENTER evening. The Chapel was filled to capacity with people in the balcony and the side rooms. Blanding First Ward are very happy to have their bishop back on the job after his long illness. Uncle Wiley Redd, who turned 86 on February 18, celebrated his birthday on Friday with a family dinner at the Elk Ridge Restaurant. All his children, with their husbands and wives, were in attendance, except son George and his wife, who live in Kansas. The children are Preston and his wife, Emily, Ida Mart Markham, Lyman and wife e, Louisa and La Var Lyman, Bob and wife, Nancy, with her mother, Aunt Lydia. Friends called during the day to wish Uncle Wiley" a happy birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Black spent the weekend in the Salt Lake and Provo area getting a check-u- p for Marion and visiting friends and relatives. La-va- ter of Moab were paper. To see the stars and stripes waving along Main Street on Monday in the beautiful, warm sunshine makes one glad to be a free American.
