Show The Thursday, San January Juan 13, 1972 Record Cathy Hurst to Marry Dennis Cosby Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hurst of Blanding announce the engagement of their daughter, Cathy, to Mr. Dennis Cosby, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Cosby, also of Blanding. The couple plans a February 18 wedding U in the Blanding LDS Chapel. Cathy is a graduate of San Juan High, and Dennis graduated from high school in Reserbe, New Mexico. The couple will live in Sprin- gerville, Arizona where Mr. Cosby will be engaged in the logging business with his father. First Hospital of 1972 Baby Karen Anne Bronson Bland- Ilf 'y - of ing was born at 5:18 a. m. , January 5, first baby of the new year bom in San Juan Hospital. Daughter of Steve and Pam Bronson, Karen Anne weighed eight pounds, ounces at birth, and was 20 inches long. She is the granddaughter of W arren and Ruby Bronson of Blanding, and Louie and Liz Hansen of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Codner of Monticello announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kathryn, to Kenneth C. Moore. Kathryn is a student af Brig- ham Young University, work- - ing toward a teaching certificate in elementary education. She is a graduate of Monti- cello High School and attended Southern Utah State College in Cedar City for 3 years. Ken is a former resident of Copperton, Utah. He is a graduate of Utah State and is presently employed with the Bowling Tournament Jan. The Monticello City Association of Women Bowlers (and Marching Society) will hold their annual tournament Friday evening and Saturday, January 21 and 22 at Park Lanes. Mail entries must include WIBC card number. There will be a number of door prizes, and the entrant bowling highest above her average (by a minimum of 50 pins) will get a free ball of her selection. Smith, also of Salt Lake. Jill graduated from the University of Utah and is presently teaching at the Mexican Hat Elementary School. , , . Phil is a student at the University and a member of the Air Force R.O.T.C. He served an L. D. S. mission in New Zealand.
