Monticello High School, placed second in the Region Six 880-yarun with a time rd of 2:08. 2. The second-plaRegion finish qualified him for the State Track Meet held at the University of Utah stadium last Saturday, May 15. Doug did not place in the State meet, but broke the Monticello school record in the 880 with a 2:06. 5 time. Bobby Lovato has held the MHS 880 record since 1966 with a 2:07. 4 time. Besides other business, plans made to have a family picnic in the Canyonlands on Sunday, May 16, to honor Founder's Day in ESA.
