Show Monticello dominates in southern region tourney Monticello won the team title in the Southern Division Six Wrestling Tournament held Teh, 13th at East Carbon High School. Scoring: Monticello 101, Grand 71; East Carbon 62, San Juan 45 and Green River, 18. Monticello recorded eight pins in winning the title. The other four teams had a combined total of seven pins during the tournament. In tournament points are scored for advancement, falls and placement. Monticello restlers into the championship finals and claimed six individual champ put eight w ions. Paul Langston, Mike Baker, Dan Trost, Randy Butler, Steve Rogers and Dan Cressler were crowned champions. Curt Redd and Lane Fuller placed Second. Derk Lovell, Kent Adair and Gary- Smith placed third. The wrestlers put together an out standing team effort in winning the tournament.
