Val is a son of the Oley Blacks and lived with his 'family here for many years. His family lives at Magna, Utah. The length of Val's stay is indefinite at this time. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Galbraith and son, Aaron, of Salt Lake, arrived here Monday afternoon. Bill is a son of the Doug Galbraiths and it was his birthday. Monday evening Bill and his wife took his parents out for dinner, celebrating his birthday. Earlier in the morning he had called his parents t thank them for giving him the gift of life. The young Galbraiths left for home Tuesday morning. Bill expects to receive his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah August 15, and he is employed at Hill Air Force Base as an engineer. A group of young ladies go together the weekend of July 24 and went to El Paso, Texas, and Juarez, Mexico to see the sights down Mexico way. They but report having a wonderful, Norare short, vacation. They ma and Marlene Laws, Donna Jones, Deanne Jones and Vickie Stevens. Last weekend guests at the Cordon Jones home were their son, Nelson, and his wife and 5 children, and daughter, Betty Stevens, and her family. They all got together on Sunday for a family dinner. The Jones family have gone to Salt Lake to be nearby while La Moyne undergoes major surgery in LDS Hosp. on Wednesday. La Moyne is a son of Cardon and Hattie Jones and has a wife, Nelene, and four -70 most of the summer. Over 100 of the H. J. Holyoak Moab last clan gathered-iweekend for a family reunion in memory of this great man. In November it will be his 100 anniversary of his birth. Relatives gathered from all over the state and surrounding states to honor his memory.
