The fence is being constructed under cooperative agreement with the U. S. Forest Service which will furnish steel posts, staples, stays and barbed wire. The bidder must furnish all cedar posts, tools and labor. Sealed bids will be received at the Monticello City Office until 7:30 P. M. , Wednesday, June 19, 1968, at which time bids will be opened. FOR SALE: of Monticello, was granted his Master of Divinity degree on May 28 from Western Evangelical Seminary in Portland, Oregon. The Patterson family had driven to Portland for a visit and for the purpose of receiving the degree. Pastor Patterson completed his graduate work for the degree last year in Biblical Studies. Pastor Patteron's first felt God's call to the ministry in 1952 while teaching school in Corvallis, Ore. He was first licensed to preach in 1957, followed later by ordination as a Minister of the Gospel. Feeling the need for more Bible training he began studying at Western Evangelical Seminary, an graduate school, where he majored in Biblical Studies. The Pattersons came to Monticello last January from Bridge, Ore. , where Mr. Patterson served as Pastor of the Bridge Community Church. They are serving with Village Missions, an Mission project of the Christian Business G Professiona Women and the Christian Women's Clubs of America.
