Show Legal Notice News happenings from Monticello Mr. and Mrs. Ben Schafer and son Victor, Mr. and Mrs. Noble Trueblood, and Grace Cleary spent all day Sunday in Moab sightseeing and picnicking on the Colorado river. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Christensen and boys spent all day Saturday shopping in Price. Dr. Jerrold Smith left last Thursday for Los Angeles, Calif, to attend his brother Joes wedding. Dr. Smiths sister Elaine from Orem also went. They left by jet from Salt Lake and while in California had a family reunion. Dr. Smith returned Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Lovell and family left last Wednesday for Oak City, Utah where they attended a family reunion for Mr. Lovells family. They had a very fine time visiting and returned Sunday. New residents Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Jensen, will be living in Monticello for the summer. The family is from Emery County and Mr. Jensen is working for the BLM. They have one little girl, Torrie Dee who is two years old. Guest speaker last Sunday T Canyonlands Aviation at the Community Church was Rel Luney from Moab. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jones and family left last Saturday for Eckert, Colo. Mrs. Joness parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Butler, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Jones stayed for a few days to visit and Mr. Jones returned home. They all returned home Friday. Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis and Mr. and Mrs. Arlow Free- stone spent overnight at Lake Powell last week. They were guests of J. W. Crowley. They visited Rainbow Bridge and did some water skiing. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Pierson and family spent a week sightseeing and camping. They went through Brice, Zion and Grand SCENIC FLIGHTS Canyons and Capitol Reef, and areas around San Juan County.
