Show Happenings in Blanding LOCALS mother traveled to New last week to take Mr. Anderson where he boarded a plane for his home in Illinois. They also plan to attend the Elking-to- n reunion on Saturday at Tooele. Visiting here from Midvale are Mr. and Mrs. Bob Deal and foster children. The family came to see Mrs. Deals mother, Mrs. Barbra Palmer. Mrs. Barbra Palmers daughter, Arith, has returned home from American Fork. During the summer Mrs. Palmer will care for two small Indian children, Eddie and Rockie Perkins. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Johnson have been here visiting with Mrs. Florence Johnson. While here Duane took Mrs. Garta Adams to Salt Lake City. Mrs. Margaret Zasckie and daughter are visiting w Mrs. Zasckies parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delores Hurst. Jean Laws, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Laws is spending a couple of weeks with her two sisters, Mrs. Sandra Jackson and Miss Ret-t- a Ann Laws. Joseph Black was here last week to bid his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Black, goodby before leaving for Nigeria, Africa where he will assume the position of dean of the college. He has been, teaching at Oxford College In Ohio and was chosen over 300 other men for the position in Africa. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Evans and children and Mr. Evans father, Sylvester Evans, came last Saturday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson. Keith became ill and with his wife and father returned home. The children will stay for, a longer visit. Keith Jameson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Jameson, Monticello, received his doc- torate in physical chemistry June 14 at the University of Illinois. Dr. Jameson is a graduate of Brigham Young university where he received Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Engineering degrees. He is presently employed in the research and engineering division of Standard Oil Co. He plans to pursue a Master of Science degree in business administration at New York university in the future.
