Mr. Read, a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Redd, Montieello, Utah, is a candidate for the degree of Medical Doctor. Mr. Redd earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young university in 1959. He is a member of the Phi Rho Sigma medical fraternity. He graduated from Montieello High school in 1950. Mr. Redd is married to the former Karen Jarman, Berkeley, Calif., and they are the parents of three children. Mr. Redd plans to do his internship at University of Utah affiliated hospitals.
