Show News of Queen City of the Golden Circle Mrs. Robinett new elementary teacher and Mrs. K. S. Summers were in Salt Lake City last week where Mr. Summers attended some meetings. They also spent some time in Cache Valley with his relatives. Their daughter, Helen Redd, met them in Salt Lake City and then returned to her home in Moab with them. Also making the return journey were the Summers litle twin Joyce and granddaughters, Janice Shepherdson. Mrs. Mary Ann Lyman and daughters are in Provo visiting with her parents, Mr. Mr. Rowena G. Robinett, Dove Creek, has accepted the assignment of teaching the first grade at Monticello Elementary school for the 1962-6- 3 school year. Mrs. Robinett has taught previously In the San Juan School District from and for the past several years she has been teaching in the Dolores County School District. Crime is like a disease you take a shot to prevent typhoid. You avert the diseases before it strikes. Through proper enforcement of law you antic, ipate types of crimes, using known deterrents. You take preventive measures to head them off before they happen. We have a population of 8,965 people. Less than 1.6 of this population were incarcerated during 1961, of whom most were transients. I ask you, SHOULD I BE YOUR CHOICE FOR SHERIFF of SAN JUAN COUNTY? You can help me by voting a Democratic Ballot in the Primary election Sept. 11.
