PHONE IN YOUR NEWS KNOW YOUR SENIORS By Kathie Davi3 In the limelight this week as our senior personality is Melvin Wayne Harvey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Harvey. Melvin was born on July 11, 1943 at Horse Head Point, Utah, where he has spent most of his life. He has attended school in Monticello all through his grade school days as well as all of his high school days. Some of Melvins more prominent likes are sleeping, eating, and girls. His dislikes are just as prominent, but there arent quite as many of them. Onions head the list in his little black book. Among other things, Melvin has a certain knack for working with leather, copper, and other such materials. He has made wallets, and numerous belts, bracelets, other items. Reloading bullets, riding horses, working with copper and leather and cars are Melvins favorite pastimes. Included in these many favorites is his favorite class Physical Science. After graduation, Melvin is planning on college, or possibly the Navy. If college wins out in this debate, it will be either to BYU or to Denver where he will major in electronics.
