Show San Juan group meets with state dietician A group from San Juan County met with the state dietician at Moab on Thursday. Mrs. Virginia Bayles, public health nurse for south San Juan County, and Mrs. Vera W. Hazel-topublic health nurse for north San Juan County, together with Mrs. Doris Wylie and Mrs. Pearl Baker, cooks from the hospital, drove to Moab to meet with Mrs. Beverly Hilleary, state dietician from the Health Department. The meeting was held at the office of Mrs. Hannah Pittman, public health nurse from Grand County. Mrs. Hilleary was introduced by Mrs. Fern Peterson, nursing consultant for this area. Two meetings were held, the morning session given to family Making nutrition, and a film, Ends Meet shown. Mrs. Ruth Roring from Corinth, Miss., is visiting her son, John Roring and family. Johns brother, Roy, and family from Healdton, Okla., will also be visitors here this weekend for the opening of hunting season. M., El Paso, Texas, and Juarez, Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Young traveled to Salt Lake City Friday for a business trip. They were accompanied by Miss Jo Redd who flew from there to Menlo Park, Calif., where she lives. Miss Redd had spent the previous two weeks visiting here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. Frank Redd. First grandchild arrived Tuesday, Oct. 11 for Mrs. Maxine Lyman. An 8 pound two ounces little boy arrived for Mr. and Mrs. Ed Garrett in the local hospital. Mrs. Garrett is the former Sheree Lyman. A special excursion to the Man-- ti Temple is scheduled for the San Juan Stake Young Marrieds groups of the Mutual Improvement Association. Nov. 12 is the date set for the event. Following the temple sessions a private testimony meeting will be held in the temple chapel for the group, and after this a dinner will be served to those participating.
