Matinee Saturday 3 p.m. and Saturday Sept. 9 and 10 Friday I'm running in this race, too, and if any of you good folks feel you could support me, I would appreciate your vote. I have had some experience in severpl different County Offices I which feel would be of value to me as a Commissioner. I'm very much interested in the development of roads and water, and boosting the scenic attractions of our County. I am opposed to spending money that will not benefit our County permanently. I am interested in a certain amount of recreation, but am opposed to a man keeping his gym shoes on 24 hours a day. I hope when this election is over that I won't be like the Texan who the next day after election came out with a gun on each hip. His friends meeting him on the street, asked him what he was doing with two guns on, and he said, "I figured if this election was any in- - 1 I dication of my friends, I better wear them for protection."
