Five Game Preserves In answer to recent inquiries from rabbit hunters concerning the status of state game preserves, fish and game department spokesmen announce that only five such areas now exist in the state. The five areas were listed as the Cache, the immediate drainage into Fish Lake, and the Salt Lake, the Monestary and the Heaston. Archery Statistics Final figures for the 1957 statewide archery deer hunt success released by the Utah Department of Fish and Game. They show that hunter sucess for last years hunt, the third such season in which the entire state has been opened to archery hunting, was 13.5 percent. This figure represents a drop over the 19.'3 season when the hunter success was 19.2 percnt.
