Ranger G. LeGrande Olson of Manti, Utah, is being promoted and transferred to the Monticello Ranger District April 28, according to Forest Supervisor George L. Burnett Ranger Olson is a native of Idaho. He graduated from Utah State University in Range Man- agement and Forestry in 1935. Upon graduation he became a technical foreman in the CCCs in Arizona. In 1939 he was promoted to assistant ranger on the Penasco District of the Lincoln National Forest. The next year 1940, he was promoted to district ranger on the Santa Fe National He also served as Forest ranger on the Kuni, Verde and San Augustine Districts in New Mexico before transferring to the Manti Ranger District of the National Forest in l June of 1952. Mrs. Wetherington, who recently had been elected as one of the directors of the newly formed Monticello Trailer Park and Assn., built the trailer-cour- t has had it in operation since 1955. Mr. Van Wagoner is currently employed by the Utah State Pa. trol at the Portof Entry station in Monticello, and expects to devote his hours to the operation and maintenance of the court.
