From there, we took a road leading to the Skyline Drive. This drive took us up on a high hill from where one could see the surrounding country for miles around. Our last scenic stop on our way home was at the Royal Gorge. We took the railway cars which went straight down to the bottom of the Gorge. Aftr we had walked across the bridge over the Gorge, which was swinging slightly, due to the wind, to the ether side. This was a beautiful and interesting place to visit too. After leaving the Royal Gorge, we didnt stop again until we reached Durango, where we ate supper. On the way to Durango, we went over Wolf Creek Pass, which was something new for a lot of us, as it had been dark on the way over. We got home about 11:00 that night, tired and reafly for bed. It may not sound like it, from the crowded schedule that has been described, but we founrj time to squeeze in a whole lot of fun, and made trip both recreational and educational.
