The supply situation has not improved as yet and th shortage remains critical. Mr. Jewkes asks that everyone refrain from washing cars and from using garden hoses to flush walks and driveways. He also requested that no irrigating of any kind be done now. The water well being drilled by the city has made no real show of water in tests made periodically since operations began in January. Plans were made to force additional dry ice in the hole Tuesday afternoon in an attempt to clear away drilling mud that might be holding back the flow of water. AI Barton kept the Monticello bovs steadied and led all scores with 19 points 11 of them in the first quarter. The Buckaroos used a zone defense throughout the game to hold down the Devils high scorers, and succeeded in outscoring them in every quarter. There was a bit of excitement about midw'ay in the third quarter, when one of the Moab plya-er- s elbowed Jimmv Duncan, knocking him to the floor breathless. The referee interpreted the act as intentional and sent the Moab bov to the showers. After the game the Monticello players hoisted Coach Butler to their shoulders and paraded about the floor. Pandemonium reigned for about a quarter-hou- r in the gym. Some of the students paraded around town ringing bells, blowing horns, shouting and singing. Coach Butler said that it was a great team effort and it would be impossible to minimize the contribution of any of the players on the floor. This gives the High School team a seasons record of 18 wins and only 2 losses one of the best records in the history of the school. Lv-ma- Vocal solo, Arvid Black; Benediction Joel Norton.
