What wakes it all the more sad is the fact that the boy had become a little dissatisfied at not beino- able to make much money, so he said he would go elsewhere to make a little headway. The father and mother tried to dissuade him from going but it was of no avail as he left Levan at 1 oclock of Monday the 11th inst, and one week hence to the day, hour and minute he was killed. It appears that on the morning of the day he was killed he had just hired out to a bheep man and was moving the camp when he was crossing the track when the train crashed into him. The xemains were taken to the Levan meeting house where the services were held, the speakers being Brother John Whitbeck, the grandfather of the boy, Brother Copeuing and Bishop N. P. Rasmussen, each and every one bearing testimony to the sterling qualities ef the deceased. Grandfather Whitbeck being specially moved in his fatherly way and spoke very feeiingand he gave good advice And counsel to all those who had Assembled there. Tin ee hundred people followed the remains to the grave. The young ladies of Levan vied with each other in decorating the remains and his grave with flowers telling in unmitakable vrords the love they bore him. - 1 No Loss of Time. Mr. W. S.
