The meeting house was well filled by relatives and friends who had assembled to render the last sad rites to the deceased. Apostle George Teasdale, Bishop T. II. G. Parkes, Elder Walter C. Kettle and Sister Jacobs of Lehi spoke impressively of the sterling qualities of the deceased, the latter two having been associated with him while on his mission. The young wife and his fathers family were advised to cheer up under the trying circumstances as the will of the Lord was greater than that of man. Very touching hymns. were sung at the services. Elder Sells had but just filled a faithful mission to the ld country and had labored hard and unceasingly for the good of the wrork of God and he had been ever ready to do good wherever he was lead by the Spirit of God, and he was counted a worthy representative of the gospel in that far away country. On one occasion a mob of 200 people persecuted him in Luton, England, but he stood his ground faithfully. lie met his wife nee Miss Emory in the old country and a strong attachment sprang up be tween them. After his arrival home he and his young wife xvere married in the Salt Lake Temple and had just beun life together when the sad atl'air occurred. A Challenge. On a shipment ot nearly twenty thousand pounds they only received a rate of a little over nine cents. They had 2,05S pounds of medium grade, 11,703 of fine, 4,779 of heavy and 197 pounds of black, Considering the price which wool has been going at and which some of the sheep men of this city received for their wool we think that the Silberman Brothers have realized a good thing from this shipment. Truly the ways of the sheepman are hard especially after they go through the middlemens hands. If our sheepemen could only fix themselves so that they could keep their wool until the wool commission pirates could pay a better price for the product, the sheepmen would be a great deal better off.
