After several days of haid work trying to break road, which would drift full every night, he at length had to abandon his team, about hall a mile from his camp, and with his boy a lad of about fourteen years, he started 011 foot lor home. Ten days lie labored in the snow, passing the last three without food, and one night without file. Yesterday he was found by J Oiton and C. Roaencrants, ou the very top of the mountain, but he was so weak that he would fall down in tlie snow every lew minutes, his legs not being strong enough to cary him He and his boy suffered terribly, but he thinks none of his limbs are frozen With the assistance of those who found him, he made his way home in safety. He expects to start back, with others to aid hint, to try to rescue hit team There was hay at his camp, and he believes the horses will go to it, and thus be prevented lrom starvation until he gets to them.
