She was one of a. large family and her girlhood was typical of pioneer days. On July 24, 1890 she was married to John S P. Batron and to them were born ten children, five of whom have passed on. At one time the family lived in California for three years but returned to Paragonah to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Barton celebrated their golden wedding in 1940. Mr. Barton lived to be tho oldest man in Paragonah before his death on June 15. 1946. Since that time Mrs. Barton has spent a portion of her time visiting with members of her family.
