Show DA ACCIDENT TAKES LIFE OF HUSBAND OF FORMER PARAGONAH Relatives here were deeply (hocked last week when news arrived of the death of a former Marilyn Ward Returns From D.C. She will leave for Salt Lake City Sept, 14 to participate in the rushing activities staged by the campus pre-seaso- sororities. Babies Christened In Local Wards The Parowan First Ward had a corner on all the babies christened here last Sunday with four little girls receiving their names and blessings in Ward Sacrament meeting. They were LADY ' Paragonah resident Mr, Mina A of Salt Lake Beauregard Citv. He was the husband of Eff.e Robinson Beauregard, a Paragonah woman who will be remembered for her many ears Mr. Beauregard was working the new David O McKay classroom building. Upper Brigham University Young campus in Provo. He and another worker were on a scaffold working on the outside of the building on masonry work when a cable supporting the scaffold broke, Mr. Beauregard plunged head first to the ground some 20 ft. below. He died enroute to the Utah Valley Hospital. The other worker was able to grab a cable and swing inside the building escaping injury. Both men were employees of the L. Lynn Allen Construction Co. of Salt Lake City. Mina Archie Beauregard was born Sept. 10. 1808 in Sterling, Sanpete County, a son of Marinus and Amelia Edwards Beauregard. He was a life long resident of Utah and was married to Effie Robinson in Paragonah on Feb. 7, 1931. Approximately fifteen years ago the family made a home in Paragonah for a number of years. Survivors include his widow, of 3095 2nd. East, Salt Lake City, a son Lee R.; two daughters, Bonnie B. and Mrs. Echo Ncy; and three grandchildren all of Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held on Lake City. Tuesday in Salt Among the relatives from this vicinity who traveled north for the service were Effies brother, Mr. Ray Robinson of Paragonah, who made the trip up on Sun- day and a sister Mrs. James Alma Benson and her daughter Mrs. Jean Kaminska of Paro- wan. Mrs. Benson left for the City Thursday night immediately after receiving the tragic newm. She remained with her bereaved sister until after the funeral. on j Lowe Barton.
