In any prosecutions undei tlie provisions of this ordinance, the Justice may on his discretion, where a prisoner is adjudged guilty of violating any of the piovisiutis lu tein, in addition to a fine, assess tlie costs uf prosecution against him and in default of payment hemay imprison him at the lute of one dollar a day for each dollar ut fine and costs inclined.
