Chriatenson and C. M. Madsen, who were eleoted at the annual meeting to audit the accounts, rendered their report which was accepted. Following is the report of the committee: We hare examined and checked the disiricts Financial accounts from June 3dih, 1903 to June 30tb, 1008, and hod that they hare been correctly kept with tho following exceptions, Joseph , to-wi- t: On June 18, 1903, a cheok for $273.87 was issued to the 6ohool 1. board br the county tieasurer, the earns being placed to the credit of district in the Manti City Savings bank, but no reoord of it made by the 6hool treasurer, Nephi Anderson, on his books. 2. And on Dec. 5th. 1904, achepk for $1000.00 was placed in the bank to the credit of the district, and said amount was first reported to the districts credit in the report for the year ending June 30tb, 1907, 3. On Deo. 27th, 1906 a warrant was issued to A. U. Melquist for $45.50 , the same oeing paid by check for said amount, but reported on the books as $45.00, and on another occasion a balance was reported fire cents In excess of the amount. 4. On Dec. 14th, 1907. we find s that the school board has paid as follows : Brigham Jensen $7 for serrioes, Nephi Anderson $9 for services. F. O. Savage, $9, extra services and them-eelve- stationary.
