One call was also received from an officer, while patrolling in Green River, reporting a motorcycle with no headlights. When the officer pursued the subject, the motorcycle began a high speed chase. The subject headed East on the Frontage Road and then South across toward Ruby Ranch. After 6 miles, the subject then headed East on Blue Hills. Following another 3 miles, the subject crashed the motorcycle. During the pursuit, the light by which the motorcycle was traveling was the officers headlights. When the motorcycle crashed, a foot pursuit began at which time one additional Emery County officer and one Grand County officer assisted. The subject of the chase was captured and suffered no injuries as a result of the chase. It was discovered that the subject was driving on a suspended license and was also allegedly in possession of a small bag of marijuana.
