Stan felt a stronglove for the outdoors, camping, fishing, horseback riding always with his family, whom he loved to tease. His quick wit and humor will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen, of Ferron and three children and their1 spouses, Loretta and Ralph Nielson of Huntington, Rick and Julie Truman of Cleveland, Kaylene and Mike Bohling of Ferron, 12 grandchildren and three Also survived by brother Kay and his wife Judy Truman of Huntington and Ronald Robertson of Magna and many nieces and nephews, all who dearly loved him and by whom he will be deeply missed. Funeral services were held Fri. June 11 at 11 a.m. in the great-grandson- s. Huntington Stake Center. A public viewing was held Thursday evening at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale. Burial was in the Huntington Cemetery Member of Catholic Church. Served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Longtime resident of East Carbon, where he helped start the American Legion. Retired member UMWA Kaiser Steel Local 9938. Lloyd's greatest love was for his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed riding his Harley and working on cars, especially his 1 927 Model T vv hieh won numer- ous awards, trophies and recognition throughout the state. In 1968, Lloyd started Hunt's Dismantlers and, over the years, he enjoyed working alongside his family. Lloyd loved working on and building race cars, which he raced on many dirt tracks in Utah with his sons and many longtime friends. Survived by his wife, Edna Hunt, East Carbon; sons. Randy (Cari) Hunt, East Carbon; Jeff wonderful years together. Carene passed awav on Jan. 5, (Karee) Hunt, Sunnyside; daughter-in-laJodie Love, East Carbon; brothers, Ross (Jan) Hunt, Orem; Mike Hunt and Horace Hunt, California: Gilbert Hunt, Washington; 12 grandchil- dren and four Preceded in death by parents; sons, Karl and Mark Hunt; and grandson, Randy Hunt. Dawn was born Dec. 20, 1 955 to Reid A. Fon and Ramona She was a faithful member of School. the LDS Church, where she served in numerous callings. Above all else, she loved her family. She was a wonderful homemaker and loved to cook and enjoyed collecting recipes. She and her family spent many happy hours at their cabin. Beverly is survived by her husband, Lawrence; her children, Larry Motte of Price, Merlene and Curt Archibald of Spanish Fork and Darlene and Chris Evans of Tremonton; nine grandchildren; brother, B.J. Hawkins; and sisters, Helen Syme and Carol Blackburn. She was preceded in death by her She was a gifted writer, leaving many touching poems for family and friends. George was larger than life and dedicated himself to whatever cause he undertook. Survived by his daughter, Lorna deRuyter, and granddaughter, Bernadette deRuyter, both of San Francisco, Calif.; sister, Anne Sneddon, Ogden; William Hill Brett (Natalie) Leamaster; son, Danny; and brother, Wesley Hawkins. Funeral services will be Wed., June 23, 1 1 a.m. at the old Wellington LDS Chapel. After a first job as a gopher for a Helper garage, George joined the Helper Furniture Company in 1937, where he worked as an employee and coowner for 45 years. George found time to also work for 32 years as a fireman and engineer for the Rio Grande Railroad. In his spare time, George was an active member of the Carbon County Senior Citizens Center, director of the Castle Country ARR member Rio Grande Veterans Club, president of Scofield Reservoir Campsite for the past 30 years and life member Price Elks Lodge 1550. He was very involved in the beginning days of the Carbon Emery Fish & Game Association. During the last 21 years, George volunteered at the senior center in Price, where he was printer of the monthly newsletter. For his years of dedicated sen-iceGeorge was awarded a community service award in 1992 from the governor. George was a hard worker, loyal, cheerful, a practical joker, fisherman, hunter and , Kinder Leamaster. Graduated from Emery High 1957. X Anton and Mary Grivet. To find work, Anton moved the family to Standardville, an extinct coal camp up Spring Canyon Road, where George spent his early years. In April 1929, George married Carene Woodward in Price, where they shared 72 N.M. Beverly Motte PRICE-Beverl- northern Italian immigrants Romero Hunt. Married Edna Robles March 20, 1950 in Raton, Truman. He married Karen as Justice Court Judge since - George K. Grivet, a colorful part of Carbon County history, passed peacefully on Saturday, June 19, 2004, in his 94th year. He was born Nov. 6, 1909 in Rock Springs, Wvo., the son of PRICE great-grandfath- FERRON-Stanle- v William Truman, age 64, returned home to his Heavenly Father June 7, 2004 in Provo with his family by his side. He was born April 23, 1940 in Huntington to Arthur Leslie and Olive Staker Leah Huff Oct. 2, 1939 in the Manti LDS Temple. He served for 17 years in law enforcement in Salt Lake City, serving as Chief of Police for South Salt Lake and as a detective for the Salt Lake County Police Department. He returned to Emery County and has served George Grivet EAST CARBON - Our wonderful husband, father, grandfather and Lloyd Hunt, age 76, the last of the legends, passed away June 16, 2004 in Price. Born Dec. 4, 1927 in Chandler, Colo., to Joseph and Martha 2004 A.M. Approximately 25 miles SE of Price, Utah and just north of Sunnyside, Utah.
