Chandler Tanner, Nicole Sanders and Donald Greenburg receive first place in the billboard category. In the high school billboard Forty nine Utah youth received recognition at an awards category, three students from ceremony held recently at the Gateway Union Pacific Depot in Salt Lake City. The students were awarded for their winning entries in the seventh annual Truth From Youth advertising contest, presented by the Utah Department of Health. Nearly 8, 000 Utah students entered this years contest, and more that 43,700 students have participated in the contest since 1998. entered Utah youth ages the contest by creating ads in the categories of radio, TV, or billboard. Entries grouped into elementary, junior high and senior high, and prizes were awarded for first, second and third places. Anti-Tobac- Emery High won the first place award. Those students are Donald Greenburg, Nicole Sanders and Chandler Tanner. In the radio category for high school ages students, Tyrell Jewkes took third place. Buckie Up 5-- anti-tobacc- place Jewkes takes third in the radio category. This meeting consisted of the swearing in of new camp officers, a program, a meal, and the training of officers in their duties. Only five of the seven camps were represented.
