Show Emery County Progress Castle Dale, Utah Tuesday October 28, 2003 7A Community News DUP Opening Social Castle Dale Students Discover Why Minerals Rock &&.: The Old Mill Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers held their opening meeting and social on Sept. 4 at the senior citizens center in Ferron. Irene Williams, Camp Captain, welcomed everyone there and conducted the business pail of the meeting. The lesson which concerned Davis County was given by Glenda Worthen. A luncheon was served by Thelma Hall. There were about 25 in attendance. Zions Bank joined with the museum to offer local students this hands on opportunity to discover why minerals rock. This trip coincided with the museums Traveling Treasures quartz exhibit which will be on display at Zions Banks Castle Dale office for the month of Oc- Treasures exhibit.
