Angi Prevedel, 20, the daughter of David and Glenna Prevedcl was crowned by Gov. Mike Leavitt on duly 24 as Miss Rodeo Utah. Prevedel is also the granddaughter of Lecta Olsen and the late Boyd Olsen, formerly of Perron. Grandma Lecta in Castle Dale. Prevedels father, Dave, worked with the forest service in Perron from 197 Prevedel will represent the state of Utah at the Miss Rodeo America pageant in Las Vegas, Nev. the first week of December 2003. The pageant is held in conjunction with the National Finals Rodeo. She will be competing against the state rodeo queens from 2.3 other states. On Sept. 0, Prevedel will be in Perron for the annual Peach Days celebration. Her plans are to ride in the parade and attend the horse races at the park where she will also be available to sign autographs.
