Show Emery County Progress, Castle Dale, Utah Methodist Church, where she was active in the quilting group. Myrtle was a resident of Carbon County since childhood and worked as a nurse for many years. She was a member of the PEO Sorosis Club and many other social and civic organizations. The family would like to specially thank Dora Lauffer for her Temple. As an active member of the LDS Church she held numerous positions. She was very compassionate and would always take food meals to those in need. She was a great cook and will be remembered for the wonderful pies. Pearl is survived by her five sons and their spouses: Ronald J. and Carol Cook of Price, Jay R. Cook of Price, William K. and Dorthey Cook of Taylorsville, George S. and Sarah Cook of Wellington and James Howard and Shirley Cook of Price; 25 grandchildren and 41 greatgrandchildren. Also survived by brother George White of Nevada and sister Jennie Messenger of West Valley and half brother Charles Ray Fausett and half sis- ters PRICE Pearl White Cook, 84, died Dec. 30, 1998 in Price. She was born May 19, 1914 in Cleveland, Ut. to William Parmley and Kisten Matilda Jensen White. She married Kenneth Martin Cook Sept. 2, 1931 in Victor, Ut., later solemnized in the Manti LDS Ruthe Fausett, Funeral services were held Monday Jan. 4, 1988 in the Price Stake Center. Burial was in the Price City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary. Myrtle Ross Bryner HELPER - Myrtle Ross Bryner, age 91, died Dec. 31, 1998 in Price. She was born Sept. 18, 1907 in New Mire, Colo., to Harry L. and Belle Bruce Ross. Married Merrill E. Bryner Nov. 2, 1931 in Castle Dale. He died July 30, 1970. Graduate of Carbon High School Class of 1993 and UTI in Phoenix, Ariz., in 1994. Served in the U.S. Marine Corps in San Diego, Calif. Carly was employed at Castle Valley Fabrication as a steel fabricator specialist. Carly was a free spirit and had a special love for the outdoors. Fishing, hunting, music and dancing were his favorite pastimes. Carly was very family ori- ented and had many caring Carlyle Carly Burton PRICE Carlyle L. Even though his life on earth was short, Carlys gift of life was to be an organ donor so that others lives would be touched.
