This year, the Greater Salt Lake Unit of the American Cancer Society will hold a Great American Smokeout celebration at 49th Street Galleria from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. By participating in fun activities such as miniature golf and bowling, attention will be diverted away from cigarettes and there will be less temptation to smoke "just one. Family Galleria GAS Passes can be purchased for $3 per person. In order to qualify, a family must have a minimum of four people. The pass gives each person the following: roller skating or miniature golf, one game of Shoot to Win Basketball, one ride on the carousel, a token for an arcade game, and a bag of popcorn. Families can take part in other Galleria activities for a special rate. Individual Galleria GAS Passes are also available and will allow single participants to take part in all activities for the reduced rate of $3 per meet the rising cost of home heating.
