Woman said someone took some money from her wallet while she was at a Green River cafe. Vehicles damaged by vandals in Huntington area. Deputies took report of damage to two vehicles at a Gj0ZHIfi3? J North Main residence. Carpenter working late at night was reported for disturbing the peace, in Huntington. Deputies assisted in investigation of truck accident in Huntington Driver apparently lost Canyon. control of truck on steep grade near the Beaver Creek mine and was injured in the incident. He was taken to Castleview Hospital in Price. Ferron Fire Dale. Department responded to a possible fire reported at Merlins in Ferron. That report was unfounded. Orange backpack was found on several miles west of Green River. Deputies investigated car-cocollision just off SR10, one mile north of Castle Dale. No injuries reported. Deputies investigated theft of a bicycle in Castle Dale. Bike described as Western Flyer girls bike, yellow and white in color. Bicycle had no front fender. Huntington man told deputies that someone had taken the wheels off a tote-got- e that he owned. Animal control officers impounded a bay gelding horse with starred forehead. Animal has two white back feet and white left front foot. Officers were unable to locate owner. Small bag of suspected marijuana was found by Green River man at a Green River truck stop. Deputies settled a civil problem between two neighbors at the scene. Gas skip reported from store in Huntington. Castle Dale man said someone burglarized his home while he was away. Suspect in red BMW drove away from the scene of a minor accident after allgedly hitting a parked vehicle near a Huntington store. Deputies kept the peace while two neighbors talked about a civil problem with property rights along a ditch in Orangeville. Two DUI suspects were booked into the Emery County Jail after they were arrested in separate incidents in Huntington. Gas skip reported at Co-o- p store in Huntington. Deputies were unable to locate suspects in the complaint. Vandals shot the windows out of a tractor parked on the Buckhom road and knocked down a stop sign near the damaged tractor. Deputies were summoned to keep the peace while two parties discussed child custody problem in Ferron. Green River deputies settled a dispute between two neighbors over who owned a dog. Huntington woman reported a neighbor boy took a car from her residence without permission. Matter was referred to juvenile court on that complaint. Lawrence woman was arrested on failure to appear warrant from a Castle Dale court. to enter Burglars attempted Wilcox Laundry in Castle Dale by kicking in a door. Nothing was reported missing from that incident. Three suspected poachers were referred to Division of Wildlife Resources after being reported in the Orangeville area. Two reckless drivers were contacted in the Orangeville area after reported racing on city streets. Orangeville fire department extinguished a tree fire burning in a front yard of a local residence. Trespass complaint investigated in Huntington area. Division of Wildlife Resources officers arrested two Huntington men after deer remains were found at a Huntington Canyon residence. The two suspects were also arrested for possession of controlled substance. DUI suspect was booked into Emery County Jail after being arrested near Emery. Mans wallet was found in Orangeville fruit orchard. The wallet was entered into evidence for safekeeping. Mans watch was found in Double Kwik store in Huntington and entered into evidence for safekeeping. Deputies assisted in settling two civil problems during the day. One occurred between two neighbors in Huntington Canyon and the other was reported in Huntington. Seventh Judicial District Court Sentencing Update 1. Jack Gordon Erwin sentenced Sept. 3 for aggravated assault to years in prison. 2. John Bruce McPherson sentenced Sept. 8 for: A. Injuring a Jail - 5 years in prison; B. Escape, Class B Misdemeanor - 6 months in jail; C. No Drivers License, Class B 30 days in jail; D. Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class B Misdemeanor - 6 months in jail; E. Theft, Class B Misdemeanor - 6 months in jail; F. Carrying a Concealed Dangerous Weapon, Class B Misdemeanor - 6 months in jail. All sentences to run concurrent with each other. 3. Mathew Cook Pleaded Guilty to Third-Degre- e Theft; Adult Probation and Patrol to return their recommendation for sentencing on Nov. 3, 1982. 4. Robert Ash Arraigned on Attempted Murder and Assault on a Peace Officer on Duty - jury trial set for Dec. 2 and 3, 1982. 5.
